Rebecca Skeels is a respected jeweller, metalsmith, teacher and industry guru. Her recently published book 'Soldering for Jewellers' is a practical guide which covers the basics as well as more advanced techniques and encourages the inspired jeweller to use the soldering process as a springboard for creative design.

The GoJD in collaboration with Rebecca will be giving away three copies of her book to the three jewellers who can entertain, inspire, educate or amuse us with tales from the soldering block! Enter the competition with a photo and story of one of your soldering escapades; tell us your tales of tears, triumphs and tribulations - the good the bad and the ugly, we want to see it all!

Post an image of your soldering work, along with a description your on our Facebook or Twitter Pages with the hashtag #solderingforjewellers and you could win a copy of Rebecca's book.

It can be a soldering job in any metal and for jewellery or silversmithing. This competition is open to all GoJD members (if you're not a member but would like to be, simply click here to sign up!)
