Scarlett ErskineInternational Jewellery London, the most prominent UK show for the jewellery trade is almost here!

Open from Sunday 1 - Wednesday 4 September and housed at Earls Court, it promises to showcase all aspects of the jewellery industry and provide a most sophisticated and comprehensive jewellery show. As the UK's premier jewellery trade exhibition, IJL is the perfect place to discover the latest trends, source new and exciting products such as loose gems, packaging and tools, meet others in the trade (including other GoJD members) and attend the industry's leading seminar programme.

Hundreds of the world’s leading brands and designers have stands at IJL and many of them choose to unveil their new collections at the event.  Areas displaying the new designers promoted by ‘Kickstart’, ‘Bright Young Gems’ and the ‘Lonmin Design Innovation Award’ provide a showcase for the freshest design talent, alongside more established jewellers.

GoJD members exhibiting at IJL 2013 include:

Jessica Nam

Jessica has been selected as a winner of the Bright Young Gems Competition for IJL 2013. She is a Birmingham based jewellery artist with a passion for precious metals, opulent gems and sculptural forms. Jessica meticulously handcrafts her creations in gold and silver, which often encase sparkling gemstones in an array of sumptuous colours.

Scarlett Erskine - Vanilla Ink Stand B51
Scarlett Erskine

Scottish Jeweller, Scarlett Erskine will be taking her latest collection 'Exposed' to the Vanilla Ink stand at IJL this year. Scarlett Erskine is part of Vanilla Ink Studios based in Dundee, the group of jewellers who raised money through a unique crowd-funding scheme, earlier this year, giving them the opportunity to exhibit at IJL 2013.

Her collection is an alternative range of jewellery inspired by textures of the skin and structures of skin cells. With both timeless and statement pieces, it is appealing to fashionistas as well as those with more classical tastes. Scarlett's pieces will also be featured on the IJL Runway.

Leanne T Evans - Vanilla Ink Stand B51
Leanne T Evans

Leanne is a Scottish designer creating a distinctive range of geometric, silver pieces inlaid with precious and semi precious stones and will also be at IJL sharing the Vanilla Ink stand.

Leanne is fascinated by people’s minds and personalities.  The new collection for 2013/14, entitled “Edges” takes inspiration from strong, bold individuals which in turn takes imagery from the dynamic lines and forms found in rocks and minerals. These beautiful and interesting shapes are translated into unique silver designs that are enhanced with semi-precious and precious stones.
Alan Hadley - GETi Stand B112

Yes, it's true! Head honcho here at the GoJD will be exhibiting in his capacity as the Director of GETi Ltd, the long established Black Zirconium and Titanium wedding ring maker. Serving both individual clients and stockists throughout the world, GETi is also a UK agent for Sisma laser welders and engravers and offers, along with machinery sales, a subcontract laser engraving service.

Be sure to drop by and say 'hello' to fellow guild members when you're visiting :-)
