London-based independent jewellers EC One are running a graduate jewellery design competition and for those who wish to pursue a career in jewellery design. One lucky winner will have the chance to be stocked at EC One this Christmas, receiving full PR, marketing and design/buying advice. Applicants need to have graduated from a design degree in the past 2 years, and hope to pursue a career in jewellery designing/making.

To enter, applicants should head to the EC One Facebook page (Facebook.com/econejewellery) where they can post an image which sums up their jewellery collection with a 100 word statement about their work.  A top 10 will be announced in September, with the winner being chosen by our customers in time for the busy Christmas period.

'EC One' is named after the diamond and jewellery making district in london (EC1) where you will find Hatton Garden and was established in 1997 by husband and wife team Jos and Alison Skeates. Their position as an independent jewellery shop has won them 'Best for Fashion' at the UK Jewellery Awards two years running, an achievement which has put EC One firmly on the map within the UK jewellery and fashion industries.

EC One source new designers and collections at the annual London, Paris and New York jewellery shows, striving to bring their customers the future seasons' trends, always on the lookout for that something special. Over the years, EC One has discovered great jewellery talents, from Stephen Webster and Niessing to Alex Monroe and Alexis Bittar.

This is your chance
to win dedicated shelf space for your jewellery designs
during EC One’s busy Christmas period.

We really see this as an opportunity to work with talented
new designers who could benefit from the advice and
promotion EC One can offer.

The prize will include cost payments when pieces sell,
promotion from our PR company Push PR, manufacturing
advice from our in-store workshop, and business and
sales advice from our head buyer Alison.

To enter, simply post an image that best represents
your work with a 100 word statement on the EC One

We will publish the top ten on our website and blog
to let our fan-base decide who they want to become
‘signed’ to EC One.
