Birmingham based Jewellery Designer, James Newman has won the prestigious Platinum Guild International Award for his platinum Omega collection of wedding and engagement rings.  This prestigious award was presented at International Jewellery London, Earls Court, during one of the UK's most important jewellery shows and sees James gaining recognition for his innovative approach and the universal appeal of his designs.

The special qualities of platinum including its intrinsic strength and durability, allowed James to produce the fluid and sculptural forms that are characteristic of the collection.  These stunning platinum designs won the admiration of a respected panel of judges from across the industry, who were unanimous in their praise for the collection.  Selected quotes include:

"Outstanding.  Beautiful, innovative settings and clever imagination.  There is so much more to this collection than first meets the eye"

"The three rings worked together, very appealing on the hand.  James just keeps getting better"

"A truly beautifully designed collection that makes a feature out of lowering the cost of owning platinum, i.e. hollowing out the band becomes a design feature rather than something to be hidden away"
