The New Designers Show is back again this year, when the high fliers from this year’s design graduates will unveil their remarkable talent at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1.
It is the UK's most comprehensive display of cutting edge design talent emerging from colleges and universities in Britain today. As they emerge from the UK’s design courses to start their professional careers in numerous creative industries, it is they that will begin to influence the shapes, textures and trends of our high streets, living spaces and wardrobes in the coming years.

This show, which is open to the public, is an absolute must see event if for no other reason than to take a peek into the future of our aesthetic lives. For jewellery junkies, it's a small slice of heaven.

The show launches the careers of some 3500 design graduates from 200 of the design courses at the UK’s leading universities and colleges. The design projects cover a host of design interests – ranging from jewellery, applied arts, textiles and fashion to architecture, graphics and multi-media as well as interiors and product design.

The exhibition also presents One Year On, a major feature within the event which showcases a group of 58 of last year's young designers who have proved their entrepreneurial flair and can boast a strong body of work. It is great to see that two GoJD members are amongst this eminent  group of self-starters: Daniella Cardillo (awarded GoJD Gold Membership from last year's event) and Harriet Knightley - well done! OYO has a consistent reputation for presenting the most dynamic young designers and this section continues to attract the attention of buyers, curators and of course the design conscious public.

BarberOsgerby, designers of the Olympic torch, will be opening the show and presenting the awards for New Designers Part 2 on Wednesday 4 July.

For everyone who loves design at its most fresh and exciting a visit to New Designers is essential.

The organisers of New Designers have offered a preferential ticket rate to all GoJD members - log in and click here for further details!
